WATER WORLD VISUAL IDENTITY

Ocean Park is a beloved Hong Kong theme park where whole generations of family memories have been made. But extended periods of lockdown during Covid and a growing dependence on digital worlds and technology as a source of adventure was seeing Hong Konger’s descend into space where connections with each other and the natural world were being lost. In an effort to reconnect Hong Kong’s modern-day urbanites and travellers from the region with each other and all the natural wonder of Hong Kong, Ocean Park set their sights on designing South East Asia’s first water-front waterpark. An experience that’s immersive in every sense, and focused on creating endless fun and lasting memories for all. With these mighty objectives, we created a world-class iconic brand to represent this truly unique destination and encourage people to reconnect in nature and with nature.

Inspired by the ancient Shui Shu language, we developed a water language that merges the old and the new. Ancient Chinese water script is transformed into bold experience symbols that invite you to explore and discover this experiential first for South East Asia, a wonderland of adventure, just 20 minutes from the hustle of Hong Kong.

THE VISUAL IDENTITY

An identity inspired by our secret world—the truly unique and wondrous location exclusive to Ocean Park. And reflecting the sense of adventure only such a setting can excite.
The logo is part of the language of nature in this secret world, combining the symbols for the sea and mountains and culminating in a bright smiling sun.
